Hiura's 18th home run of the season came with two outs in the bottom of the first, on a 3-2 pitch with Yasmani Grandal on base. The sizzling Milwaukee Brewers strengthened their hold on the National League's second wild card with a 10-1 home win over the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday night.
