The defendin World Series champion Boston Red Sox fired president Dave Dombrowski Sunday night, following a 10-5 loss to the New York Yankees, ESPN reported. The move comes less than a year after Boston beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games in the 2018 World Series. This victory completed a Texas sweep of the four-game weekend series, and the Rangers won six of the seven games they played against the Orioles this year. Rougned Odor hit a three-run home run to cap a six-run first inning as the visiting Texas Rangers defeated the Baltimore Orioles 9-4 on Saturday night.
