Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed will miss his second straight game to start the season as he deals with the lingering effects of a concussion, the team announced Friday. Defensive end Jonathan Allen also was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys (1-0) after sustaining a grade 1 knee sprain in Washington's 32-27 loss to Philadelphia in the season opener. New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard is out of Sunday's game against the visiting Buffalo Bills due to a concussion. Shepard was in concussion protocol throughout the week after recording six receptions for 42 yards in a season-opening loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
