Phillip Ervin homered and drove in two runs as the visiting Cincinnati Reds posted a 5-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday night to earn a split of doubleheader split. The Cardinals, who recorded a 4-3 victory in the first contest with a ninth-inning rally, won three of four games in the series. Joc Pederson hit a 454-foot homer to lead off the 11th inning and the Los Angeles Dodgers used four solo shots to record a 4-3 win over the host Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday in Phoenix. Cody Bellinger tied the game with a one-out homer in the ninth inning and the Dodgers set a franchise season record with 238 homers. Tom Murphy and Daniel Vogelbach hit back-to-back home runs in the third inning and Kyle Seager later added a three-run shot as the Seattle Mariners defeated the Texas Rangers 11-3 Sunday afternoon to earn a split of their four-game series in Arlington, Texas. Mariners left-hander Yusei Kikuchi (6-9) allowed three runs on six hits in five innings to earn the victory.
