The UAB Blazers laid another foundation in the football program's restart. Blazers coach Bill Clark finished up a 20-player recruiting class with nine high school players Wednesday, the latest building block seven months from the season opener against Alabama A&M. Miami (Ohio) won’t represent the East division in the Mid-American Conference title game, but the Redhawks did make history on Tuesday night. After trailing Ball State 17-7 at halftime, Miami stormed back to knock off the Cardinals 21-20.
