In the midst of perhaps their greatest victory of 2019, the Miami Marlins may have sustained their greatest loss of the season, as right fielder Brian Anderson's left hand was broken Friday when hit by a pitch. Anderson, one of the few bright spots for a team sporting the worst record in the National League, was plunked with the bases loaded in the third inning of a game against the visiting Philadelphia Phillies. Starlin Castro came off the bench to slug two homers and drive in five runs as the host Miami Marlins rallied from a seven-run deficit to defeat the Philadelphia Phillies 19-11 on Friday night. Isan Diaz added a three-run homer as Miami banged out 19 hits and set a season high in runs.
