It has been a long road to making a season debut for Ryan Borucki in 2019. After a promising 17 starts in the back half of the 2018 season, the young left hander came into spring training this year with eyes on cementing a place as a permanent member of the Toronto Blue Jays rotation going forward. Part of life as a big leaguer is taking some time to put a smile on the face of the younger generation of fans that come out to the ballpark to take in the games. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has famously been around major league ballparks his whole life, and his actions tell the story of a young star that knows how powerful those moments can be. Prior to the Toronto Blue Jays game on Sunday in Detroit, Guerrero stepped up and made the day of a youngster sitting front row by going above and beyond, scooping up the little girl for a photo op.
