David Freese and Justin Turner homered to lead the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers past the Philadelphia Phillies 7-2 in a rain-delayed game that ended early Thursday morning. Dodgers starter Kenta Maeda tossed two scoreless innings before he was replaced by Casey Sadler after a 2-hour, 37-minute delay. The Philadelphia Phillies placed outfielder Jay Bruce on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday because of a right oblique strain. Bruce, who is hitting .230 with 24 home runs for the Seattle Mariners and Phillies this season, suffered the injury in the third inning Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bruce, 32, has 10 home runs, a .256 batting average and 29 RBIs in 33 games for Philadelphia, which acquired him on June 2 in exchange for minor league third baseman Jake Scheiner and cash considerations.
