Philadelphia outfielder Jay Bruce left the Phillies' Tuesday night home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with an oblique injury, the Phillies announced. In the bottom of the third inning, Bruce tried to check his swing and then reached right away for his side. Cody Bellinger hit two home runs, Max Muncy and Alex Verdugo each homered and the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers routed the Philadelphia Phillies 16-2 on Monday. Bellinger finished with four hits while Verdugo had three hits for the Dodgers, who ripped 19 hits and won their third game in a row.
