Sale, who was a key component to last season's championship, and was even called out of the bullpen to record the final three outs of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, is now 3-8 on the season after the Red Sox were upended 6-3 by the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday. Baseball pitcher Tyler Skaggs has been found dead at the age of 27, two days after his last game. Skaggs' team, the Los Angeles Angels, said his body was found in a hotel room in Arlington, Texas, were the team was due to play the Texas Rangers. “It is with great sorrow that we report Tyler Skaggs passed away earlier today in Texas,” the Angels said in a statement. The two teams combined to score 12 runs in the first inning and the game only got crazier from there in New York's eventual 17-13 win. As the St. Louis Blues' Stanley Cup celebration continues, a quick trip to Busch Stadium was only to be expected. Patrick Maroon, Alex Pietrangelo and Conn Smythe winner Ryan O'Reilly brought the Cup with them as they visited with the St. Louis Cardinals ahead of their game against the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday night.
