The Los Angeles Dodgers didn't need a sixth straight walk-off win at Dodger Stadium Thursday night. With right-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu pitching six scoreless innings and Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger hitting solo homers, the Dodgers defeated the slumping San Diego Padres 5-1 at Dodger Stadium. Ryu, the leading candidate to start the All-Star Game next Tuesday, improved to 10-2 while lowering his ERA to 1.73. Continue to Article

Tatis went the opposite way on his game-tying, 10th homer of the season, a 375-foot drive to right. Continue to Article

Major League Baseball is sending its heaviest hitters to London this weekend, where commissioner Rob Manfred hopes the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees can give the game a "toehold" in Europe. "I hope that the two games in London will be viewed as sort of a groundbreaking, artistic success," Manfred said at recent MLB owners' meetings. "We're talking probably the greatest rivalry -- certainly in baseball, if not in sports -- for two games." Continue to Article
