Diaz, who missed the minimum amount of time, was in the starting lineup Thursday, hitting fourth and playing third base. Diaz, 27, is having a breakout season in his first season with the Rays after being acquired from the Cleveland Indians in a three-way trade that included the Seattle Mariners in December.
