The host Pittsburgh Pirates will be looking to beat the San Diego Padres for the fifth time in a row when the teams play the middle game of a weekend series Saturday. Pittsburgh, which won the final three games of a four-game series in San Diego last month, took the opener of this series 2-1 on Friday in a tightly contested game decided by an unearned run. It was Dickerson's first major league home run since Sept. 22, 2016. Continue to Article

It has helped him evolve from a relative unknown in the deal that sent Andrew McCutchen to the San Francisco Giants to an invaluable cog in an offense that's desperately trying to keep Reynolds' injury-plagued team afloat. "I'm not a guy that's going to strive to get in front of the camera at every opportunity I get," Reynolds said shortly after making his major league debut on April 20. Continue to Article

The San Diego Padres will bring back rookie right-hander Chris Paddack after a 10-day trip to the minor leagues in which he didn't throw a pitch. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Paddack will start Saturday at Pittsburgh. He was optioned to Class-A Lake Elsinore last week but never appeared in a game for the California League team, which was on a three-day All-Star break this week. Continue to Article
