In the bottom of the fifth inning, Max Muncy hit a ball up the middle. Brandon Crawford ranged to his left to field the ball and made a spinning throw to first base that forced Sandoval to stretch for it. Sandoval caught the ball and kept his foot on the base for the final out of the inning, but as he used his hands to brace his landing, Muncy stepped on the right one. Continue to Article
