Michael Wacha was so excited to make his first start in nearly three weeks that he set the alarm in his hotel room for 4 o'clock. The well-rested Wacha pitched six scoreless innings in his return to the St. Louis Cardinals' rotation Monday, and they broke a three-game losing streak by beating Miami 4-1. Bill Belichick has won a Super Bowl against a St. Louis team as head coach of the New England Patriots, so it was only appropriate the Boston Bruins invited him to be the fan banner captain for Game 2 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Final. Belichick waved the banner alongside Special Olympics athlete James Coffey before the Bruins took on the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night, and the legendary coach's presence sent the TD Garden crowd into a frenzy.
