The Seattle Mariners dealt Jay Bruce to the Philadelphia Phillies, the outfielder confirmed to MLB.com on Sunday. Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera underwent an MRI exam on his right knee on Saturday, one day after leaving a game due to soreness. Cabrera, who refused to speak to reporters prior to Saturday's game against the Atlanta Braves, departed Friday's game in the sixth inning.
