Boston
Throughout the Stanley Cup Final, the St. Louis Blues have spoken repeatedly of playing a disciplined game and staying out of the penalty box. It killed the Blues on Saturday night, when Boston went 4-for-4 on the power play in a 7-2 Game 3 win to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. If St. Louis wants to win Game 4 at home Monday and tie the series, it can't afford to give the Bruins four or five more chances. Continue to Article

Certainly they don't play like the least penalized team in the playoffs with the vicious boarding play on Matt Grzelcyk that took the defenseman out in Game 2, and the nasty looking Brayden Schenn run at David Pastrnak in Game 3 that could have been disastrous if the B's right winger hadn't sidestepped the contact. Don Cherry praises Zdeno Chara's defense, toughness vs. Vladimir Tarasenko originally appeared on nbcsportsboston.com Shutting down Vladimir Tarasenko is one of the top priorities for the Boston Bruins in their 2019 Stanley Cup Final series against the St. Louis Blues, and B's captain Zdeno Chara is giving a heck of an effort toward accomplishing that goal. The 42-year-old defenseman has made it tough on Tarasenko, who's had to fight for every inch of ice whenever matched up against Chara. The Bruins, aided by Chara, snapped Tarasenko's eight-game point streak in Wednesday night's 7-2 Game 3 victory in St. Louis. Continue to Article
