The Philadelphia Phillies placed right-hander Zach Eflin on the 10-day injured list on Friday because of back tightness that will force him to miss his scheduled start on Saturday against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. The move is retroactive to Tuesday, and the Phillies recalled left-hander Cole Irwin from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding transaction.
