The former Texas Rangers third baseman says he's still at peace with the announcement he made last November, which came months after he had actually decided to retire. The Pittsburgh Pirates announced on Saturday they have placed right-handed pitcher Jameson Taillon on the 10-day injured list with a right elbow flexor tendon strain. Taillon, in his fourth season with the Pirates, has compiled a 2-3 record with a 4.10 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 37 1/3 innings over seven starts in 2019.
