The Texas Rangers have placed second baseman Rougned Odor on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 11, with a right knee sprain, the team announced Saturday. In a corresponding move, the Rangers called up infielder/outfielder Danny Santana from Triple-A Nashville. Right-handed pitcher Edinson Volquez also was transferred from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list to open up a 40-man roster spot for Santana. Continue to Article

Pinch-hitter Colin Moran hit a three-run homer in the top off the 10th off Justin Miller on an 0-2 pitch as the Pittsburgh Pirates came back for a 6-3 win in a back-and-forth contest Friday with the Washington Nationals. Miller (0-1) has now allowed four homers this year in seven outings and the Nationals bullpen entered the game with an ERA of 10.71. Texas Rangers relievers found themselves dealing with the wrong kind of buzz Sunday, first from bees in the bullpen and then from the crowd's reaction to another mammoth home run by Mike Trout. The star slugger went deep for the fourth straight game and the Los Angeles Angels, after waiting out a five-minute delay caused by a swarm of bees, beat the Rangers 7-2.
