There are a number of different ways to value a baseball team. Forbes came out with its 22nd version of baseball valuations Wednesday and said the Atlanta Braves are worth $1.7 billion, 12th in Major League Baseball but below its estimated $1.78 billion average value for the 30 big league clubs (the average is 8% more than a year ago). The Colorado Rockies can't seem to avoid losing a home game on their own. The weather spared them from possibly dropping their sixth in a row at Coors Field. The Rockies' game against the Atlanta Braves that was scheduled for Wednesday was postponed because of a strong storm expected to hit Colorado and beyond. Continue to Article

Max Fried was impressive in his first start of the season for the Atlanta Braves. Fried (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will be matched against Colorado Rockies right-hander German Marquez (1-0, 0.69) when the teams play the middle game of a three-game series on Tuesday.
