The Miami Heat will visit the Toronto Raptors Sunday afternoon needing a win because they are involved in a tight race for an Eastern Conference playoff berth. The Heat remained ninth -- one place removed from the playoffs -- after their 111-109 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday night. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra feels the experience is valuable for a young team that will be without retiring star Dwyane Wade next season. Continue to Article

The Jeremy Lamb moment was cute, again. In the midst of March Madness and the musical chairs being played between five Eastern Conference teams for the final three playoff seeds, the 26-year-old's 48-foot Hail Mary heave that banked in at Scotiabank Arena was a shot in the arm that could have been looked back on as the one that got the Charlotte Hornets over the hump. Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade said life after basketball will include making visits to a clinician. Seriously," Wade said in an exclusive interview with ESPN's Rachel Nichols that aired Friday on The Jump. Including Friday night's road contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Wade has four regular-season games remaining on his retirement tour as the Heat try to qualify for the playoffs in a four-team battle for three spots. If the Miami Heat are going to make a last-second push and get into the playoffs, they'll have to do it without one of the team's breakout performers. Josh Richardson is expected to miss two weeks due to a groin injury, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The move comes as a big blow to the Heat, who sit just a half game out of the playoffs — and a full game out of the sixth seed — as the regular season comes to a close. Continue to Article
