Buffalo
The only thing to be decided in the season finale between the Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings is the sixth-place finisher in the Atlantic Division. The two lottery-bound teams head into Saturday's game at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena with identical 32-39-10 records. Buffalo seemed destined to finish ahead of Detroit until the past few weeks. Killorn notched his 18th goal of the season from the right circle on a pass from the left circle by Steven Stamkos as the Lightning took advantage of a Maple Leafs turnover. Continue to Article

Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin could be back in the lineup Thursday night after sustaining an upper-body injury on March 16. Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan told reporters both Malkin and defenseman Kris Letang are game-time decisions for Thursday's home matchup against the Detroit Red Wings. Malkin has missed eight games since being cross-checked in the ribs last month by St. Louis Blues defenseman Robert Bortuzzo. Continue to Article
