Texas slugger Joey Gallo crushed a go-ahead three-run homer 433 feet and the Rangers scored a combined five runs in the seventh and eighth innings to take a come-from-behind 8-6 victory over the visiting Chicago Cubs on Saturday night. Chicago Cubs righty Yu Darvish makes his season debut after an injury-shortened year - he'll face some former Rangers teammates when he starts at Texas. Darvish hasn't pitched in the majors since last May 20, when elbow trouble sidelined him in his first season since signing a rich deal with the Cubs. Javier Baez hit two homers and drove in four runs to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 12-4, season-opening win against the Texas Rangers on Thursday afternoon in Arlington, Texas. Baez became the first Cubs player with a multi-homer game in the season opener since Corey Patterson in 2003.
