Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic had surgery Tuesday to repair compound fractures in his left leg, the team announced. Nurkic will miss the rest of this season, and there is no timetable for his recovery process. The 7-footer fractured his left tibia and fibula at the 2:22 mark of the second overtime of a game Monday night against the Brooklyn Nets when his left foot came down on the shoe of Nets forward Jared Dudley, forcing his leg to bend awkwardly.
