The Vegas Golden Knights will take a four-game win streak into Saturday night's game with the Detroit Red Wings and are 10-1-0 in their last 11 games. With Fleury still listed as day-to-day by Vegas coach Gerard Gallant, Subban, coming off his first career shutout in Thursday night's 5-0 victory over Winnipeg, is expected to make his fourth straight start against the visiting Red Wings. Perron pushed his personal point streak to 16 games (nine goals, 12 assists) after collecting three goals and two assists in his last three contests since returning from a nearly two-month absence due to a concussion. While the missed time prevents Perron's personal point streak as being viewed as official in the eyes of the NHL rulebook, the Blues have recorded five points (2-0-1) since his return heading into Thursday's home encounter against the Detroit Red Wings. Detroit
It appears as if the Detroit Red Wings are prepared to enter the 2019-20 season with the exact same goaltending duo they have this season. Starting goalie Jimmy Howard said on Tuesday, via NHL.com, that he and the team are finalizing a contract and “working out the language” on a one-year deal that, according to the Detroit Free Press, is expected to pay him $4 million. The Red Wings are the only team Howard has played for during his career after they selected him in the second round of the 2003 NHL draft. Continue to Article
