Reaves scored the tiebreaking goal early in the third period, and the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Dallas Stars 2-1 Friday night. Dallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop has etched his name in the franchise record books by registering three straight shutouts. Bishop could add another line to the submission on Thursday when the Stars visit the Minnesota Wild at Saint Paul, Minn. A pair of NHL stars were hit with two-game suspensions on Sunday. Sabres star Jack Eichel was suspended for the first time in his career after colliding with Avalanche forward Carl Söderberg in Saturday night's 3-0 loss to Colorado. Söderberg was in a fairly defenseless position, reaching for the puck in the neutral zone before Eichel finished a check to the head that the NHL's Department of Player Safety believes could have been avoided.
