LaMarcus Aldridge had 29 points and 15 rebounds, DeMar DeRozan added 28 points and the San Antonio Spurs overcame a 15-point deficit in the first quarter to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 121-114 on Sunday night for their fifth straight win. The San Antonio Spurs have enjoyed a three-day break since capturing their fourth straight victory and snapping a three-game road losing streak. For the first three quarters, Portland was all over the Suns, leading 102-77 heading into the fourth period, shooting 50.7 percent from the field and a spectacular 52.4 percent from three-point distance. A 131-114 loss for the Charlotte Hornets against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night clinched the berth for the idle Raptors. It marks the sixth straight season that the team will advance to the playoffs after only making it five times in the franchise's first 18 years, as TSN's Josh Lewenberg pointed out. The Bucks claimed a 3-1 series win over the Pacers with a 117-98 home win on Thursday that snapped their first two-game losing streak of the season. "I think we always talk about the experiences from the regular season," Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer said in his postgame press conference. "You can draw on them and reference back and hopefully we're building the right habits so that when we play any and all of those teams -- if it happens in the playoffs -- you're prepared for it, you feel confident and ready to go."
