A home game against a tired team is just the kind of opportunity the San Jose Sharks can't afford to squander if they want to catch first-place Calgary. It's the fourth time in five games the Blackhawks failed to hold a lead at any point in the game despite scoring at least three goals in four of them. But quite frankly, it's the primary reason they've lost four of those five games since winning 10 of their previous 12. The Boston Bruins defenseman won't have a hearing with the NHL Department of Safety after the league reviewed his hit on Kane during Tuesday night's game against the San Jose Sharks, a spokesman told The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. Trent Frederic is making the best out of a tough situation. The Boston Bruins' 20-year-old rookie and St. Louis native was set to make his hometown debut against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday afternoon. There was just one small glitch...
