Bruins' Zdeno Chara won't face discipline for hit on Evander Kane originally appeared on nbcsportsboston.com Evander Kane believes Zdeno Chara gave him a cheap shot, but the NHL apparently thinks otherwise. The Boston Bruins defenseman won't have a hearing with the NHL Department of Safety after the league reviewed his hit on Kane during Tuesday night's game against the San Jose Sharks, a spokesman told The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun.
