Former NFL quarterback Tony Romo will be returning to the PGA Tour this spring. The former Dallas Cowboys star and current CBS NFL analyst has accepted a sponsor exemption into this year's AT&T Byron Nelson, played at Trinity Forest in Dallas where Romo is a member. The 38-year-old is an avid golfer, advancing out of the preliminary stage of Web.com Tour qualifying last year shortly after he captured the celebrity title at the American Century Championship. After veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury allowed 17 goals in four straight starts, the Vegas Golden Knights' Malcolm Subban took over the crease for just the eighth time this season. The 25-year-old Subban made the most of his first start since early January. Subban made 29 saves, Max Pacioretty scored twice and the Golden Knights defeated the Nashville Predators 5-1 on Saturday. As the smoke cleared for the Dallas Stars (after streaming from CEO Jim Lites' ears), the team has been riding great goaltending and Tyler Seguin's brilliant work to maintain the playoff spot they were struggling to keep before that on-the-record meltdown. While strange things could always happen, the most likely question won't be if the Stars can clinch a spot in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs, but rather if they wrestle the Central's third seed back from the Blues, or settle for a wild-card spot. The Vegas Golden Knights will try to snap a franchise record five-game home losing streak when they play host to the Nashville Predators on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The second-year Golden Knights, who lost just 10 times on their home ice during their entire inaugural regular season (29-10-2), are in danger of going winless during a four-game homestand that began with a 4-3 setback to Columbus on Saturday and was followed by losses to Arizona (5-2) on Tuesday and Toronto (6-3) on Thursday. All three losses featured third period collapses for Vegas which has been outscored 8-2 in that period during the three games. Continue to Article

Dallas
The most noteworthy thing to happen to the Dallas Stars this season came at the end of December when team CEO Jim Lites loudly and profanely criticized his team's two best players, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn, and pretty much blamed them entirely for the team's underachieving. In doing so he absolved general manager Jim Nill of any and all blame for the team's shortcomings, and ignored the fact that even though Seguin and Benn were, at the time, having “down” years for their standards they were still by far the best and most productive players on the team.
