While Hockey Night in Canada firecracker Don Cherry has made it very clear he's not a fan of the Carolina Hurricanes' win celebrations when they play at home, the team wants everyone to know that they really, truly don't care. During Cherry's popular Coach's Corner segment on Saturday night, the former Bruins coach called the squad a “bunch of jerks” on a few occasions, saying the team's spectacles — known as 'Storm Surges' — are “a joke.” It's quite the claim, coming from a man who's known for his big personality and over-the-top suits, but hey, what do I know! The hottest team in the NHL is now in playoff position. Petr Mrazek stopped 33 shots in his third shutout of the season and the Carolina Hurricanes moved into a wild-card playoff spot with a 3-0 win over the Dallas Stars on Saturday night.
