As the National Hockey League trade deadline rolls around the Ottawa Senators have decided to make Matt Duchene available for trade, while they try to make an extension work with Mark Stone, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. With the Senators now actively shopping the centre, Friedman believes the market for his services will become more lively in the upcoming days. It took him a while for his offensive production to get back to his normal career level, but Karlsson has been an impact player all season after arriving in an offseason trade with the Ottawa Senators. Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin had one of the best on-ice chemistry you'll ever see between two hockey players with completely different backgrounds. In each of those seasons, Panarin's cap hit was $812,500. A big reason why he was able to unlock them was because he played on a line with Kane, who won the Art Ross and Hart Trophy in 2016 with 106 points. Continue to Article
