The 31-year-old goaltender tied a Boston record with his 252nd career victory as the Bruins beat the St. Louis Blues 5-2 on Thursday night. Rask made 28 saves and matched the franchise mark set by Cecil ''Tiny'' Thompson, who was 252-153 with 63 ties. Here's what happened in the Bruins' 5-2 over St. Louis Blues originally appeared on nbcsportsboston.com FROM JOE HAGGERTY Good job by Peter Cehlarik winning a board battle leading up to that David Backes game-tying score in the second period. A pair of teams with hopes they might be ready to turn a corner will meet Tuesday when the Los Angeles Kings travel to Minnesota to face a Wild team in need of a little defensive fine tuning. Snoop Dogg was the celebrity guest of the L.A. Kings on Saturday night, and did the best play-by-play you'll hear anywhere. Here's something you may not know about legendary rapper Snoop Dogg: he loves hockey. The L.A. Kings invited Snoop to be their celebrity guest of honor on Saturday night, and he did a little of everything. Continue to Article

The San Jose Sharks are starting to look like the Stanley Cup contender we thought they would be at the start of the season. It is their two-headed monster of Erik Karlsson and Brent Burns on defense that is driving them back to that level. The Sharks enter Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Kings (10:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN) having collected a point in 13 of their past 16 games (with 11 of those games being wins) to keep pace in the suddenly tight Pacific Division race with the Calgary Flames and Vegas Golden Knights.
