One day after a tough loss to their crosstown rivals, the New York Islanders bounced back with a big win against the league-best Tampa Bay Lightning. Casey Cizikas and Cal Clutterbuck each had a goal and an assist, Thomas Greiss stopped 38 shots, and the Islanders beat the Lightning 5-1 Sunday night. It turned out to be a pretty miserable Sunday for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Not only did they play what was probably their worst game of the season in a 5-1 loss to the New York Islanders, but they also lost one of their top players when reigning Norris Trophy winning defender Victor Hedman had to exit the game with what the team is calling an “upper-body injury.
