The struggling Anaheim Ducks sent left wing Andrew Cogliano to the Dallas Stars in exchange for center Devin Shore on Monday. Cogliano, 31, had 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 46 games for the Ducks this season, his eighth in Anaheim after four seasons in Edmonton. Since he was acquired from the Oilers in a trade in 2011, he has registered 233 points (102 goals, 131 assists) in 584 games. Continue to Article

James van Riemsdyk had a goal and an assist, Travis Konecny scored a goal, and the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the visiting Dallas Stars 2-1 on Thursday to snap an eight-game losing streak. Jonathan Quick and Anze Kopitar have been teammates since they were drafted together 13 1/2 years ago by the Los Angeles Kings, so the synchronicity of their milestone achievements Saturday night just felt right. Quick earned his 300th victory and Kopitar scored his 300th goal while Los Angeles escaped last place in the overall league standings with a 4-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers.
