Winnipeg Jets coach Paul Maurice says defenseman Dustin Byfuglien will be ''out for a while'' after leaving Saturday's game with a lower-body injury in the third period. Maurice, speaking to reporters on Sunday, said Byfuglien will not need surgery, but likely will not play until after the All-Star break at the end of January. ... After dropping a 2-1 decision to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night the Minnesota Wild find themselves stuck in a three-game losing streak and have now lost 10 of their past 15 games, keeping them on the outside of the Western Conference playoff picture.
