Detroit
Alexander Radulov didn't see the harsh criticism of Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin from the Dallas front office as a scathing critique of just the high-priced forwards. The Russian in his second season with the Stars viewed it as a message for the entire team. Radulov scored twice and Dallas routed the Detroit Red Wings 5-1 on Saturday, a night after Stars CEO Jim Lites ripped Benn, the captain, and Seguin by saying they were underperforming for a team falling short of expectations. Detroit
Late Friday afternoon Dallas Stars CEO Jim Lites ripped his team’s two best players, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn, for not playing well enough this season and for being the reason the team is struggling. On the ice, things couldn’t have possibly gone better for the Stars as they rolled to a 5-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings. Dallas Stars longtime chief executive Jim Lites levelled his guns at his two stars players on Friday, verbally blasting Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin following the NHL club's 2-0 win over Nashville. Lites said he has the backing of team owner Tom Gaglardi when he directed his tirade at the team's high-priced Canadian stars, the US media reported. "They are fucking horseshit, I don't know how else to put it," Lites told The Dallas Morning News. Continue to Article

With just a few games left before the halfway point of the season, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Florida Panthers get set to meet on Saturday night - and neither team is in playoff position. The Panthers, who will host the Flyers, are 15-15-6 with 36 points following a 5-3 home loss on Friday night to a team they are chasing in the Eastern Conference, the Montreal Canadiens. "We didn't make it that tough on (Montreal)," said Panthers forward Mike Hoffman, who had two assists. Continue to Article

Florida
The preseason feels like it was ages ago, but don’t be surprised if the Florida Panthers haven’t completely forgotten about it. On Friday night, the Panthers and Montreal Canadiens will go head-to-head for the first time since Max Domi split Aaron Ekblad open with a sucker punch in September. Domi ended up being suspended for five preseason games, which is kind of a joke considering he wouldn’t have played in every one of those exhibition tilts anyway. Continue to Article
