The preseason feels like it was ages ago, but don’t be surprised if the Florida Panthers haven’t completely forgotten about it. On Friday night, the Panthers and Montreal Canadiens will go head-to-head for the first time since Max Domi split Aaron Ekblad open with a sucker punch in September. Domi ended up being suspended for five preseason games, which is kind of a joke considering he wouldn’t have played in every one of those exhibition tilts anyway. Continue to Article

Danault completed a hat trick late in the third period, Paul Byron scored in overtime and the Canadiens beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 on Saturday. Gabriel Landeskog got the chance to celebrate his goal a second time - after a big sigh of relief. The Colorado captain broke a tie 35 seconds into the third period by batting in a goal, Philipp Grubauer stopped 35 shots and the Avalanche beat the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 on Wednesday night. ''It was one of those that could have gone either way,'' Landeskog said. Continue to Article
