Alexander Radulov was at the end of his shift and tired, but he was on the other side of the ice from the bench when he entered the offensive zone with the puck and time winding down in overtime. Radulov's decision to stay on the ice instead of going to the bench for a change paid off in a big way for the Dallas Stars. The Blackhawks' first-period struggles have been well-documented over the last month. Thursday was the closest the Blackhawks have had to a perfect start under Jeremy Colliton, scoring 1:12 into the game and 2:37 left in the period to go into the first intermission up 2-0.
