Detroit
Detroit outscored Minnesota by 15 points in his 42 minutes and got outscored by nine points in the 11 minutes he sat. Everything went smoothly enough, but I wonder what the fan said to get so deeply under Griffin’s skin at that point of the game. Continue to Article

Blake Griffin scored 34 points and Reggie Bullock added a career-high 33 as the Pistons beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 129-123 in overtime on Wednesday night. Andre Drummond's tip-in with 0.6 seconds left sent the game into overtime. Then the NBA's leading rebounder hit a rare 3-pointer of his own in overtime to put the Pistons on top for good. Detroit
Antetokounmpo made plenty of plays down the stretch, finishing with 32 points and 12 rebounds, and the Bucks held on for a 107-104 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night when Blake Griffin missed a last-second 3-pointer. Detroit

The pair gave the storied franchise multiple triple-doubles in a game for only the second time, matching a feat achieved by greats Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in January 1982. James had 24 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, while Ball had 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 128-100 win in Charlotte on Saturday night. Continue to Article

Detroit
Joel Embiid was hampered by fatigue in the second half of the Philadelphia 76ers' loss to the Indiana Pacers, according to Brett Brown, who acknowledged the center has "a lot on his shoulders". A superb first-half display saw Embiid score 28 points off nine-of-15 shooting and grab 14 rebounds, sending the 76ers into the interval with a 10-point cushion at Wells Fargo Center. The All-Star, who was unhappy about being rested for a game against the Detroit Pistons last week, lost some of his momentum in the second half but still finished the game with 40 points and 21 boards, albeit his efforts were unable to prevent the Pacers rallying for a 113-101 triumph.
