Michael Malone says the "special" Nikola Jokic must be an NBA MVP candidate after he starred in the Denver Nuggets' victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. Serbian center Jokic led the Nuggets with a game-high 32 points and claimed 16 rebounds in a 126-118 win at Pepsi Center. The Phoenix Suns have waived guard Austin Rivers, a day after he was obtained in a trade with the Washington Wizards. In a deal finalized over the weekend and announced Monday, the Suns acquired Rivers and Kelly Oubre from the Wizards in exchange for Trevor Ariza.
