Chuck Fletcher has found his assistant general manager, and it's not at all unexpected. The Flyers on Wednesday hired Minnesota senior vice president of hockey operations Brent Flahr as their vice president and AGM. The Athletic's Michael Russo first reported the news Tuesday night. "Brent brings over 20 years of experience in the National Hockey League and an extraordinary amount of knowledge to our hockey club," Fletcher said in a statement released by the team. Brock Boeser didn't need much help during a breakout 2017-18 season. Boeser scored his second career hat trick, Pettersson had a goal and four assists and the Vancouver Canucks beat the St. Louis Blues 6-1 on Sunday.
