Fleury, a 15-year veteran, stopped 33 shots to earn his league-leading fifth shutout of the season as Vegas defeated the San Jose Sharks 6-0 Saturday night. The decision to add Erik Karlsson to an already formidable San Jose Sharks lineup during the offseason looked like a questionable move when the two-time Norris Trophy-winning defenseman got off to a humdrum start.
