Stevens’ Kings stumbled to a 4-8-1 start, and he exits with the organization sitting last in the Western Conference with nine points. LAS VEGAS -- Suspended defenseman Nate Schmidt and the Vegas Golden Knights agreed to a $35.7 million, six-year contract extension Wednesday that runs through the 2024-25 season.
