A traditional one-bid league should have two goals each year for its conference tournament: Gaining as much revenue and exposure as possible without putting the top seed in undue jeopardy. Cody Wichmann had 11 points and nine rebounds and Milwaukee upset Valparaiso 43-41 on Saturday night in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League Tournament quarterfinals. Alec Peters’ ill-timed injury will force him to miss the rest of the season. The Valparaiso star is not expected to play again this season because of a left leg injury, a source confirmed to Yahoo Sports on Wednesday night.
