Luke Rogers was standing in front of his locker stall wearing a shiny-new Flyers jersey when James van Riemsdyk walked up and handed him a stick. Rogers smiled and graciously thanked van Riemsdyk. Taylor Hall gave the New Jersey Devils just what they needed after a dismal seven-game trip - an MVP-type performance. Hall scored the game-winning goal on a breakaway at 8:07 of the third period added an empty-net tally to cap a four-point night and lead the Devils to a 4-2 victory over the struggling Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night. Coming off a long, ugly road trip, the New Jersey Devils must be hoping that a return Tuesday to the Prudential Center to host the Pittsburgh Penguins is a case of Home, Sweet Home. Sunday presented some examples of Byfuglien’s frightening prowess. Early on in a game that the Winnipeg Jets are currently running away with, Byfuglien shed New Jersey Devils forward Blake Coleman in a domineering moment of puck possession, basically shrugging him off.
