The already jumbled Boston Bruins goaltending picture took a strange twist on Friday. Tuukka Rask, whose ineffectiveness led to free agent signee Jaroslav Halak jumping ahead of him on the depth chart, left the team after both goalies played poorly in Thursday night's 8-5 loss to the Vancouver Canucks at TD Garden. Zane McIntyre is the only one of the two goalies in Providence with NHL experience having appeared in eight games during the 2016-17 season. Continue to Article

DeBrusk finished with a couple of goals in the high-scoring shootout, and better still showed the kind of spring in his skating legs and grit around the net that were regular parts of last season's standout rookie campaign.
