Apparently they’re continuing to do so now that Julien BriseBois is in charge as GM instead of Steve Yzerman. The Canadiens jumped all over the Bruins early on Saturday night, and Boston never got off the canvas against its archrivals as a result. GOLD STAR: Carey Price had a couple of flashy glove saves on Danton Heinen and Joakim Nordstrom during the game to let the Bruins know he was on top of his game, and finished it off with a shutout performance against them. In all Price stopped 33 shots, and was only beaten once on a Ryan Donato shot where the goal was called back based on a coach's challenge for the play being off-side. Continue to Article

The reigning Norris Trophy winner is expected to be sidelined at least a week after getting drilled by Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves on Friday. The Tampa Bay Lightning said Saturday that Victor Hedman will be re-evaluated in a weeks’ time after getting catapulted awkwardly into the boards after Reaves laid the open ice hit.
