Two teams trying to find their footing in the first month of the season meet Thursday night when the Philadelphia Flyers face the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena. The Flyers (3-3-0) blew a three-goal lead on Tuesday but survived for their first home win of the young season with a 6-5 shootout victory over the Florida Panthers. Cody Eakin scored with 1:25 left in regulation as Vegas handed the Flyers (2-3-0) their first shutout of the season. Continue to Article

Obviously too early to be overly concerned about that production, and while it’s probably not where he or the Flyers wanted it to be it is still a tough loss for a Flyers team that is already playing shorthanded up front.
